Siemens is also sellling its auto-parts business to Continental AG for $15.64 bil, and will purchase US clinical diagnostics firm Dade Behring Inc. for approximately $7 bil.

Siemens to move part of IT unit to joint venture

Siemens AG of Germany is planning a joint venture for its information technology subsidiary with Fujitsu Ltd. of Japan. Siemens AG will transfer approximately 1.3 billion Euros ($1.5 billion) and 5,000 workers to Fujitsu Siemens Computers B.V.
