Russian economy begins revival, as effects of Yukos breakup fade

Russia's economy is experiencing growth because of surging oil prices after the slowdown with the sale of OAO Yukos. Outflows of private equity are falling from $17.4 billion last year to $2.8 billion and foreign investment is up 30 percent to $4.5 billion. The RTS Stock Index is up 55 percent and Russia's credit rating has been upgraded by both Fitch Ratings and Moody's Investors Service.
