Fortis restructures division, to cut jobs due to ABN deal
Article Abstract:
Fortis N.V. has undergone restructuring of its funds division in preparation for its merger with Dutch financial services company ABN AMRO Asset Management in April 2008. Fortis was part of a consortium that acquired ABN AMRO Holding N.V. in 2007. The combined firm is expected to have approximately $356 bil under management.
