Vacancies add to fees fear
Article Abstract:
Concern is mounting among number of architecture students as they dread the introduction of a new top-up fee policy in 2006. The new policy is likely to sharply reduce the number of applicants and it is believed that with students having to pay an extra pounds sterling 3,000 a year in fees, architecture students willing to take their Part 2 examinations will undoubtedly find the cost of university life increasingly punishing.

Who pays as fees crisis looms?
Article Abstract:
The average architecture student would face debts of about pounds sterling 57,000 by the time they graduate, as a result of the top-up fees, which will be introduced in 2006. This astonishing figure would cause potential architects to flinch and force undergraduates to reconsider whether to take their Part 2 architecture examinations.
