Lowe grives 'applling' loss
Article Abstract:
Advertising firm Lowe Group's New York, NY, operation has lost the North American account for Daimler Chrysler Mercedes-Benz, valued at $100 million. The loss of the account stemmed from the conflict of interests of Lowe's clients after the merger of Chrysler and Daimler Benz. The loss is expected to significantly affect the firm's plan to establish Lowe & Partners Worldwide as a major global advertising network by end of 1999.
