BBDO Canada's Mike Fyshe is resigning as president and CEO. Fyshe, who joined the Toronto-based agency in 1990, says he will remain in that capacity until BBDO's parent in New York, NY, find a new CEO. The year 2000 has been difficult for the agency, which laid off some of its senior employees. Also, under Fyshe, BBDO lost its account with Bank of Scotia and was forced to resign the more than C$15-million account with Sprint Canada Inc because of internal conflict.
