State entities buy costly equity stake in Time dotCom

Time dotCom Bhd. had an equity stake of 17.2% acquired by two pension funds and the national debt restructuring agency of Malaysia. The purchase occured after the firm's IPO did not attract private investors. State support for Time dotCom comes after several goverment bailouts that have caused wariness among investors.
