Article Abstract:
The telecommunications regulator in the UK, the Office of Telecommunications, gave its approval to the existing Internet call pricing system. The approval means that Internet service providers will have greater flexibility to develop long-term revenue channels without having to charge customers. The regulator published proposals that primarily supported how revenue from calls to the Internet is divided among telephone firms.
