Online x-ray system
Article Abstract:
Perkin-Elmer SCIEX Instruments has unveiled a new security screening system called the PX2000M. The x-ray machine is made with extruded aluminum and composite polymer, making it lightweight but durable. It can also be easily relocated since it has a smaller footprint. It has a tunnel opening of 500mm by 600mm, big enough for handling most luggage items. It also has a high throughput, generated by its 160Kv 1.2m x-ray source and 1600 photodiodes.
