Article Abstract:
There has been an improvement in the working conditions in some plants owned by multinationals in Asia, and the brands of some companies could be affected by criticism of their conditions. Asia Monitor Resource Center is an observer of working conditions which has issued reports on the toy industry in China, and Disney. Disney is one company that has carried out improvements. There will be complaints despite programs of corporate ethics, since Asia is attractive to manufacturers due to low wage costs.

The elusive Euro-manager
Article Abstract:
It is helpful when managing multinational companies in Europe that a person have a multicultural background. European business schools are trying to breed what is called the 'Euro-manager,' who is able to adapt to different business practices throughout the continent.
