Article Abstract:
The first joint venture with Alsop Architects, Toronto form Robbie Young+Wright (RYW) has contributed a striking new addition to the changing skyline with its extension and refurbishment to the Ontario College of Art & Design (OCAD). The scheme, flying tabletop created by Gregory Woods and Caroline Robbie, elevates a two-storey box 26 meters into the air, giving the students spectacular city views, protecting residents' views of a nearby park and creating a unique courtyard below.

Daniel Libeskind, winner of Ground Zero competition who has built only few projects, states that the act of creating architecture is concerned with believing in the projects potential, creating something clear and definite out of ideas and drawings. Libeskind's projects with plans, sketches, architectural models, and photographs were featured at the exhibition.
