Technology sourcing and FDI in the EC: an empirical evaluation
Article Abstract:
Analysis of foreign direct investment (FDI) flows in France, Italy, Germany and the UK discloses that technological sourcing seriously influences Japanese and US investors but had little effect on intra-UK FDIs. Internal market prospectives motivated all foreign investors while tariffs provided stimulation for the Americans and Japanese.
