Telekom Malaysia's chief quits amid row
Article Abstract:
Datuk Ali Hassan, the chairman of Telekom Malaysia Bhd., has unexpectedly resigned his post. Mr. Hassan apparently resigned in connection with a battle in the Telekom's management over the operation of the company. Mr. Hassan will be replaced by former civil servant Radzi Mansor. Industry officials were caught unawares by the move as it was believed that Mr. Hassan was in a stronger position in Telekom than his rival CEO Datuk Mohamed Said Mohamed Ali.
