Thai equity manager darts in and out of troubled sectors

Barclays Global Investors Hong Kong Ltd. runs a $13 million equity fund dedicated to Thai investments and the current state of the Thai economy has the company's Thai investment manager jumping in and out of different business sectors. The equity fund cannot buy other equities in the Asian region as it is limited to the Thai market and the profitability of the equity may be maintained only by putting the fund in investments that register good performance levels.
