Edmonton, Alberta-based The Brick has chosen Palmer Jarvis DDB as its agency of record. The award, which was given in late 2000, is the first for the privately-owned company with 60 stores from Vancouver Island to Ontario. The Brick has commissioned the services of the Vancouver, British Columbia-based advertising agency to create an advertising campaign that will make its upscale product line appealing to more affluent customers with more disposable income.

Zero-Knowledge goes Canadian

Zero-Knowledge Systems has picked BAM Solutions as its advertising agency of record in cyberspace. Zero-Knowledge, which was criticized in 2000 for its decision to source for an agency partner in the US for its C$36- million multi-media campaign, is in the process of launching an online campaign to promote traffic to its web site. The goal of the exercise is to enhance the sale of Freedom Internet Privacy Suite, the company's privacy software.
