The reactions of the occurrence of a fresh case of Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome (SARS) in China are examined. The investors reacted coolly, security at airports and railway stations has been beefed up and the hospitals are on alert. The network connecting 90 % of the hospitals helps in speedy circulation of the information.
