The cream of Manchester
Article Abstract:
Liverpool-based urban developers Urban Splash commissioned Stephenson Bell Architects to design a refurbishment project in a run down area of Manchester, UK. The development was originally a group of former retail outlets which Stephenson Bell developed into residential and commercial facilities. Design features include steel work and exposed beams which reflect the original feel of the Victorian buildings, while incorporating modern day fixtures and materials, such as glass and steel.
