The decade to come
Article Abstract:
Global trade should continue to grow at a healthy pace even as the global financial crisis is threatening to worsen into a global economic crisis and the current US political crisis over the impeachment of Pres Clinton is threatening to go beyond control. The weakened currencies of emerging economies will force these countries to export their goods to the US. The strong US dollar and the US consumers' insatiable appetite for imported goods, in turn, will allow the US market to accommodate these exports.
