The effects of learning by - doing on product innovation by a durable good monopolist
Article Abstract:
A study on analyzing a good monopolist's decision to adopt a new and more efficient technology that is readily available at a very low or a zero adoption cost. As the future product is of higher quality, consumers delay their purchases thereby increasing the future profits. Therefore it is concluded that the effect on overall profit depends on variables such as the degree of innovation.

Patent citations and international knowledge flow: the cases of Korea and Taiwan
Article Abstract:
The patterns of knowledge diffusion from the U.S. and Japan to Korea and Taiwan are examined using patent citations as an indicator of knowledge flow. The finding reveals that both Korea and Taiwan are reliant on relatively modern technology.
