The fine art of dressing up
Article Abstract:
Fashion and art have sometimes worked effectively together, and this is especially true of the period between 1918 and 1939. Man Ray was a fashion photographer who was involved in this fusion, and the Surrealist movement made contributions to the fashion world. There has also been collaboration in costume design, for example in the work of Leon Bakst. Collaborations involving art and fashion may have been rare outside this fruitful period between the wars.

International politics are helping the plight of sweatshops largely due to the protection of their respective clothing industries against the massive growth of the Honduras clothing industry.
