The mirage of peace

The Irish Republican Army (IRA) ended the ceasefire in the UK by planning six bombings. The most recent bombing in particular, the one that damaged the center of Manchester, clearly demonstrates that there is little reason to negotiate further with the IRA unless the bombers can be isolated.

What are Sinn Fein's intentions?
Article Abstract:
There were hopes that the election of a new Labor Party government in Britain would provide new momentum to the peace process in Northern Ireland, but those hopes now seem dashed. Sinn Fein has not called for a IRA ceasefire, and a speech by Tony Blair was not well received.
