The mystery of the world's second-richest businessman
Article Abstract:
Prince Alwaleed bin Talal bin Abdulaziz Al Saud is part of Saudi Arabia's ruling family and a multi-billionaire in dollar terms. There are unanswered questions about his stock market investments and his real estate interests. His empire grew during the 1990s, and he has holdings in companies involved in a wide range of activities. He holds a stake in Citicorp which has brought very good returns. There is a lack of clarity about his sources of income, and greater clarity would help him to represent the modern face of Saudi Arabia.
