The Walt Disney Imagineering (WDI) division is the backbone of the company's operations. The core of creative activities and the unique talents of its personnel have made the company a legend in the entertainment industry. The division is developing three theme parks, namely, Tokyo DisneySea, California Adventure and Animal Kingdom, scheduled to open between 1998 and 2001. The creative developments at WDI are kept under tight security to prevent any imitation infringement.

The designs for the two art galleries evoke opposite feelings in visitors. The Pace Wildenstein Gallery is patterned after the New York style stimulating a hushed reverence in visitors. The Gagosian is a sparking white building with open spaces and flooded with natural lighting.
