Outsourcing is one of the means employed by international companies and organizations to increase their profits. The rapid growth in outsourcing of manufacturing, medical, accounting and programming jobs witnessed in recent times to countries like India, China and Mexico is discussed. The repercussions of the trend on American and European job opportunities are also discussed.
