The origin of the stretch-limo
Article Abstract:
Many people in the US reject the idea of evolution as set out by Charles Darwin in 1859. Evolution is no longer taught in Georgia, Alabama, Louisiana, Mississippi and New Mexico, and is an optional subject in Kansas. Evolution is still accepted by many Christians. Meanwhile, business in the US follows patterns set out in Darwin's work, with the fittest companies surviving. There is also a lack of a safety net for individuals, in contrast to Europe. Companies may perform well by luck or by being the fittest, and Darwin was able to explain both phenomena.

Stretch a leg
Article Abstract:
Yoga has undergone a revival in western countries, with classes increasingly popular in California and New York. Yoga has been made popular partly because celebrities have found it useful. It is seen as a way of tackling stress, and companies may encourage employees to take up yoga. Yoga Zone and Yoga Works are two companies with corporate customers. There are still links with the philosophical and moral origins of yoga, but there is also an emphasis on feeling and looking good.
