The provider-customer interface in business and professional services
Article Abstract:
Four major types of provider-customer interface has been established, with each category corresponding to a consultant profile or consultation process. These four types are underlined by two main variables, including jobbing and sparring. In one of the categories, the consultant offers his analytic capabilities without participating in the implementation while in another, the project supervision is conducted by the client. The interface is also regarded as source of innovation that is mainly formulated for the client.
