Strategic-advice-only McKinsey has 4,000 partners while accountancy-based Cooper & Lybrand employs 44,000 worldwide. The wisdom of getting advice and technology implementation from one company is discussed.

Cereal thriller: America's food business
Article Abstract:
Philip Morris announced on Apr 15, 1996, that it was cutting prices on its domestic cereal line by an average of 20%. Kellogg announced similar cuts a few weeks later. Both cereal makers are trying to stem the loss of market share to bulk cereal and baked-goods producers.
