The rule of law grows in China
Article Abstract:
Recent technical cooperation between the Central Bank and the Asian Development Bank has led to China's publication of a new law guiding the China Banking Regulatory Commission, plus revisions to the Central Bank and commercial banking laws. This is leading to a comprehensive bank-ruptcy law and to new laws on the regulation of financial conglomerates and bank insolvencies.
