The secret in Room 529
Article Abstract:
The South Korean secret service was once very active and sought to assassinate the president, Kim Dae Jung, when he was a leader of the opposition. He claims he has sought to control the secret service, but his opponents claim that this is not true. They broke into Room 529 in South Korea's National Assembly, seizing what they claim are documents showing the continued activities of agents in monitoring politicians. The Agency for National Security Planning claims that the room is a meeting place and the documents were news clippings or personal memos.
