The weber problem with regional demand
Article Abstract:
The Regional Weber Problem is analysed by creating some properties of the onbjective function that helps solve the problem by techniques of convex optimization. However, the greatest disadvantage is the high computational cost generated in the evaluation of the objective function. The formulation is a continuation of the Weber problem, which prevents the demand from being concentrated onto a finite set of points but follow an arbitrary probability measure. The problem is solved by a new approximation of the objective function, including replacing the demand distribution by an easier one.

Special cases of the tolerance approach in multiobjective linear programming
Article Abstract:
The application of the tolerance approach in the sensitivity analysis of a multiple objective linear programming problem, focusing on relations that generate a nonnegative inverse matrix, is described. Additional meaningful regions of weights that can be considered under the tolerance approach are presented. These regions represent information from the decision maker regarding the relationships between different objectives in terms of marginal substitution rates.

Multiple criteria modelling and ordinal data: evaluation in terms of subsets of criteria
Article Abstract:
Three possible model structures for multiple criteria decision making analysis involving ordinal data are presented. Two of the models are variations of the Cook and Cress ordinal multiple criteria model. They are the aggressive and average performance evaluation formulations which are applicable to problems wherein criteria importance should be maintained or rewarded. The advantages and disadvantages of each model structure are discussed.
