Ticket to ride
Article Abstract:
The business volume for Ticket, the Swedish travel agency firm, is predicted to be worth about 225 million euros, in 1998. Ticket had 70 outlets in 1998, compared to only 46 in 1993. They have been assisted by an investment from Procuritas MBO Invest Consortium. Procuritas invested in Ticket because the senior staff had already shown their faith in the business by using their own money in the business and they saw the need for large chain of travel agencies in Sweden. Ticket was the result of the merger between three Swedish travel agency companies, Ticket, UpTravel and Expo, in 1993.
