Tiffany net rises, but revenue misses market forecasts

Tiffany and Co. of the United States posted profit increases of 37 percent to $23.8 million up from $17.4 million last year. The legendary jewellry maven was buoyed by sales for luxury pieces, particularly platinum and coloured diamonds. Revenue increased 8.4 percent to $500.1 million from $461.2 million a year ago.
