Time for a 1960s revival
Article Abstract:
Many 1960s and 1970s buildings are expected to be refurbished in the near future because their leases are about to expire and there is a great shortage of good quality offices in the United Kingdom. It may not be financially viable to refurbish some of these buildings, and other alternatives include rebuilding or finding an alternative use for them. Many of these 25-year-old office buildings were built on a low budget with reduced floor-to-floor depths and other features which would be considered inadequate by today's standards.
