To sell or not to sell? Israeli start-up model leaves nation without tech titans
Article Abstract:
Even though Israel has the third most companies listed on Nasdaq, the country seems to start tech companies for the sole purpose of getting acquired by a foreign corporation. One major reason could be that Israel doesn't have a pool of strong, experienced managers to lead these little start-ups to a global market. There are other possible reasons presented as well.
