Transport deregulation bears fruit for a Kiwi: developing people and ancillary services
Article Abstract:
Christchurch Transport (CTL), a New Zealand bus company, aims to develop significant competitive advantage in each of its business operations using feedback from clients and potential clients, according to chief executive Chris O'Reilly. CTL was form as a result of changes to the bus services in urban New Zealand which were previously operated by local authority councils. CTL has been awarded major tenders for its urban work since O'Reilly's tenure of 13 months, and O'Reilly aims to build up the ancillary side of the business.
