Two groups bid $8.5 billion each for Spain's Auna

Both Kohlberg, Kravis, Roberts & Co. of the United States plus two partners and Providence Equity Partners of the United States plus three partners have tendered bids to acquire Grupo Auna S.A. of Spain. Both bids for the Spanish telecommunications and cable operator are valued at approximately 7 billion Euro or approximately $8.5 billion.
