U.S. inflation rate declines for first time since February

The United States is seeing a decline in inflation and a rise in housing starts and industrial productivity. Although crude oil prices have continued to rise, gasoline prices have fallen; analysts are divided as to whether gasoline prices are headed up or are leveling off. High technology industries led the rise in industrial production.
