Voting for Harriet
Article Abstract:
Tony Blair's shadow cabinet will be shaped in large part by a July 24, 1996, parliamentary Labour Party (PLP) election. Nineteen members of Blair's government-in-waiting will be chosen via this vote. However, Blair may keep such insiders as Harriet Harman on his cabinet, even if the PLP rejects her.

Flattened by Blair
Article Abstract:
Apparently the only way the Labor Party could lose the next general British election is if internal strife tears them apart. Blair is working to insure that this does not happen. Right now there is no one in the Labor Party who offers an alternate to the leader. His politicking is discussed.
