WWW INSTITUTE TO MAKE HYDERABAD HUB FOR NET TRAINING
Article Abstract:
World Wide Web Institute (WWWI), Geneva, Switzerland, plans to make Hyderabad its hub for Internet training and services. WWWI offers internet career training world wide. It has set up a development centre and a branch office in Hyderabad. It offers training in WebMaster course in Mumbai and Hyderabad from January 1998. The Hyderabad centre has trained 150 students and awarded certificates. WWWI plans to start a centre in Chennai. The development centre, Hyderabad is developing a on-line course in Internet. It plans to tie- up with universities. WWWI intends to set up a school in the Indian Institute of Information Technology for internet training courses. (rk)

CONCORDE MOTORS STARTS SERVICES IN HYDERABAD

Concorde Motors Ltd (CML) has opened its third showroom in the country at Hyderabad in Andhra Pradesh on September 11, 1998. This showroom is part of CML's Rs100-crore nationwide seven- location network for providing state-of-the-art retail network for sales and service of Telco range of passenger vehicles. CML is a joint venture between Jardine International Motor Group and Tata Group. The network comprises of workshops, service stations and showrooms in Bangalore, Chennai, Hyderabad, Mumbai, Delhi, Ludhiana and Lucknow. (gs)

IN TECHNET SETS UP JAVA CENTRE IN HYDERABAD

In TechNet Ltd, an Internet and intranet solutions company of Hyderabad plans to set up an advanced Java Research and Products Development Centre in Hyderabad with an investment of about $300,000. The centre will be set up in collaboration with Cybermarche Inc and NetCommerz Inc of the US. The two US companies, who are leading the commercialisation of the Chicory software, plan to use the Hyderabad centre as their Indian Development Centre for taking Chicory from its latest beta version to version 1.0.
