The number of Muslims in the US is growing at a rapid rate and much of the growth comes from African Americans in inner cities. Islam has become more mainstream and less racist since Elijah Muhammed headed the Nation of Islam. Racist attitudes are held by 4% of Muslims who are led by Louis Farrakhan.
