Control of television transmitters is very important in Bosnian politics, as politicians who have have had such control in the 90's have had great power and influence. Biljana Plavsic, who supports the Bosnian peace accord, recently acquired control of a central transmitter.

Reverse thrust: Russia's space industry

Progress could easily underbid Europe's Arianespace for contracts to build satellite launchers, but the Russian company has little business sense. Progress has set prices too high, has no capital for supplies and is openly distrustful of Europeans.
