We woz wrong
Article Abstract:
Petroleum prices rose in 1999, and a forecast that they would drop further was proved wrong. US economic growth has been faster than expected, and many Asian economies are recovering, with both factors helping to boost demand for petroleum. Forecasts can also be self-defeating, since they alert actors to the dangers involved. Errors are less clear in cases such as the war in Kosovo. The war involved both risks and rewards, and Slobodan Milosevic is still president of Serbia.
