When marketers see double: as digital libraries spread the use of stock photography, some ad images are recycled
Article Abstract:
The increasing use of digital photograph libraries for marketing is resulting in different companies using the same stock images in their ads, since nonexclusive rights to the photos are far less expensive than exclusive rights. Some companies are developing their own digitial photo collections in order to prevent this problem.
