Why Africans want fewer babies
Article Abstract:
Societal pressures and the easier availability of contraceptives are leading to a lower birth rate in Africa. Studies in Nigeria show that many women are deferring pregnancy to get an education or avoiding an embarrassing pregnancy when abstinence is expected.

Fewer faulty towers: American hotel finance
Article Abstract:
The prolonged recession really hurt the hotel business because it curtailed the business travel it depends greatly on. The result is likely to be more hands-on management from hotel owners, who have in the past delegated management to hotel operators.
