Yukos Ex-Chief sentenced to 9 years

Mikhail Khodorkovsky former Chief Executive Officer of OAO NK Yukos of Russia has been sentenced to nine years in prison and with his co-defendant and colleague Platon Lebedev ordered to pay $619 million in penalties. The billionaire oil executive in his defense in the tax-evasion and criminal fraud trial said "My criminal case was decided in the Kremlin".
