Eight EU countries overshot quotas - says third CFP scoreboard

According to the third edition of Common Fisheries Policy Scoreboard published by European Union, Belgium, Denmark, France, Spain, Ireland, Portugal, Finland and Sweden, have exceeded their fishing quotas. Accordingly, European Court of Justice has given a ruling against these eight countries.

Falklands to cut warp bird deaths

Falkland Islands Fisheries Department has developed three systems to control the seabird losses caused by the Falkland Islands' trawler fleet. The mechanism and the efficacy of the systems are described.
