Wyeth beats quarterly forecast despite 41% drop

Wyeth shares, maker of Centrum vitamins and Advil Pain medicine, raised $1.28 or 3.28% to close at $40.28, beating the expectations of analysts' for first-quarter earnings. Wyeth's first-quarter profit fell 41 percent compared to 2003 despite an increase in revenue.
