A liposome-PCR assay for the ultrasensitive detection of biological toxins
Article Abstract:
An ultrasensitive immunoassay, liposome polymerase chain reaction (LPCR), is described for detecting biotoxins that uses liposomes with encapsulated DNA reporters and gangiloside receptors embedded in the bilayer, as a detection reagent. The LPCR approach is being used for the detection of additional chemical and biological warfare agents and also for the detection of biomarkers for cancer and other diseases.

Finding time for allosteric interactions
Article Abstract:
An alternative approach for determining the allosteric interactions of compounds that binds to human serum albumin (HSA) is described. The allosteric interactions between drugs and their targets and the extent of the interactions between orthosteric and allosteric sites are determined by a bioformatic chromatography method.

Targeted antigen delivery to antigen: presenting cells including dendritic cells by engineered Fas-mediated apoptosis
Article Abstract:
Cytotoxic T lymphocytes (CTLs) often mediate immunity to tumors as well as to bacterial and viral pathogens. An important requirement of innovative immunotherapies is the capacity to induce a strong cell-mediated immune response.
