A user friendly merger
Article Abstract:
The Investnet Insiders' Chronicle resulted in the merger of the Insiders' Chronicle and Invest/Net Inside. The merger was designed to provide reliable analysis of insider trading in securities. The new newsletter will give regular assessment of industry trends which are useful to both the market speculation and general economic decision-making. A monthly insider cluster analysis will also assist in predicting the movements of the market. The insider sales will also be grouped into optio-related and outright transactions.

For investors... caution bells toll
Article Abstract:
Most of the insider selling that occurred in 1992 were prompted by taxation factors but some suggest valuable trends for investors. Sixteen insiders disposed of 447,721 shares of Warner-Lambert Co stock and six insiders cleared out 79,688 shares of MBNA Corp stock in Dec 1992. General Dynamics also experienced some insider selling in that month. Many other big corporate issues are also beset with insider selling so long-term investors should exercise caution at the moment.

These insiders are buying ... but with whose money?
Article Abstract:
Several insider trading activities involving by-side situations are reported as of Mar 9, 1998. Insiders have acquired nearly 90,000 shares of Genesis Health Ventures since Dec 1997 which may have possibly influenced current trading activities. Meanwhile, insider buying at Merry Land and Investment Co has been influenced by a company-sponsored program wherein corporate officers and directors are permitted to acquire interest-free loans to purchase common stocks.
