AAR Cadillac Manufacturing, Cadillac, Michigan, was awarded on October 28 a $26,210,646 firm-fixed-price contract to provide for repair of 36,800 (best estimated quantity) cargo pallets applicable to multiple Department of Defense transport aircraft. Funds will be obligated as individual delivery orders are issued. There were 30 firms solicited and two proposals received. Solicitation began August 1998; negotiations were completed September 1998. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. Warner Robins Air Logistics Center, Robins AFB, Ga., is the contracting activity (F09603-99/D-0009).
